Jeg skal pr\u00f8ve \u00e5 glemme huskelista en stund. I stedet skal jeg lage en glemmeliste. Ukens Tirsdag morgen<\/a> er refleksjoner og tips om noe av det som plager oss mest i v\u00e5r jobbhverdag: Ugjorte oppgaver og bortkastet tid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Jeg har en to-do-liste som akkurat n\u00e5 inneholder 409 p\u00e5minnelser om hva jeg skal gj\u00f8re eller huske. Lista vokser med netto 2-3 nye ting pr dag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeg er ikke alene. Hvis du er som folk flest, s\u00e5 vil du kjenne deg igjen i en f\u00f8lelse av overveldelse over alt du har \u00e5 gj\u00f8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspirert av to kloke menn, skal jeg i stedet lage en ny liste: en liste over alt jeg skal huske \u00e5 glemme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10-dagers utfordring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En av mine nyfunne helter hva gjelder det \u00e5 jobbe og leve godt er Ryan Holiday. Nylig meldte jeg meg p\u00e5 hans 10-dagers utfordring. Den f\u00f8rste utfordringen kom mandag, og var:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abLogg alle dine aktiviteter i dag. G\u00e5 gjennom alle aktivitetene p\u00e5 slutten av dagen. Sp\u00f8r deg selv: Hvorfor gjorde jeg dette? Var det n\u00f8dvendig?\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For deg som har fulgt Tirsdag morgen en stund vil refleksjoner omkring effektiv bruk av tid v\u00e6re velkjent. Fra jeg en dag i 2006 erkl\u00e6rte at \u00abJeg vil bygge meg en A<\/a>\u00bb til jeg gjorde opp status fire \u00e5r senere i \u00abSkal bare-syndromet<\/a>\u00bb har dette v\u00e6rt \u00abwork in progress\u00bb for meg. Det har v\u00e6rt oppturer og nedturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e5, som voksen mann i siste halvdel av 50-\u00e5rene, er jeg egentlig blitt ganske god.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men jeg blir aldri god nok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elektronisk distraksjon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En av v\u00e5r tids store epidemier er elektronisk distraksjon. Disse fantastiske verkt\u00f8yene vi har f\u00e5tt utviklet de siste ti\u00e5rene ikke bare \u00e5pner opp for mer effektivitet og h\u00f8yere kvalitet p\u00e5 arbeidet vi gj\u00f8r, det stjeler ogs\u00e5 v\u00e5re liv n\u00e5r vi ikke passer p\u00e5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e5r Ryan Holiday utfordrer meg til \u00e5 logge alle mine aktiviteter er derfor det f\u00f8rste jeg tenker hvilket elektronisk verkt\u00f8y kan jeg bruke for \u00e5 f\u00e5 dette til. Min digitale verkt\u00f8ykasse er dyp og velfylt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ikke-gj\u00f8re-lista<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Men med 409 ugjorte oppgaver spiller det snart ingen rolle hvor gode verkt\u00f8y jeg har. Jeg trenger ikke flere m\u00e5ter \u00e5 huske ting p\u00e5, jeg trenger \u00e5 rydde rom til det jeg allerede har \u00e5 gj\u00f8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fra dette springer opp et minne om en annen klok mann, Tim Ferris, du vet han med firetimersuka<\/a>. Han foresl\u00e5r at du skal slutte med gj\u00f8relister, i stedet skal du lage deg en liste over hva du ikke <\/em>skal gj\u00f8re. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Den er t\u00f8ff, men jeg adopterer intensjonen og vil bruke den som mal for min egen glemmeliste. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her f\u00f8lger Tims liste i forkortet og litt fritt omskrevet versjon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tims glemmeliste<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Ikke svar<\/strong> p\u00e5 ukjente anrop. La de prate med svareren din.<\/li>
  2. Ikke les eller send mail<\/strong> f\u00f8r du har gjort den viktigste oppgaven for dagen.<\/li>
  3. Ikke les eller send mail om kvelden<\/strong>.<\/li>
  4. Ikke les epost kontinuerlig, men gj\u00f8r det i faste perioder 2-3 ganger<\/strong> om dagen.<\/li>
  5. Ikke aksepter m\u00f8ter eller samtaler uten en klar agenda<\/strong> eller uten sluttid.<\/li>
  6. Avbryt folk som t\u00e5keprater <\/strong>eller bruker urimelig mye tid p\u00e5 \u00abhvordan st\u00e5r det til?\u00bb<\/li>
  7. Ikke bruk tid p\u00e5 kunder som ikke gir penger i kassen. Gj\u00f8r en 80:20-analyse av kundene dine<\/strong>. Finn ut hvilke 20 prosent som gir 80 prosent av inntektene og bruk 80 prosent av tiden din p\u00e5 dem.<\/li>
  8. Ikke jobb mer for \u00e5 fikse overveldelse. Prioriter i stedet.<\/strong> Hvis du ikke prioriterer blir alt like viktig.<\/li>
  9. Legg telefonen bort. Ta minst en ikke-digital dag i uka<\/strong>.<\/li>
  10. Ikke forvent at jobben skal fylle tomrommet etter venner og sosialt liv<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
